If you believe that your cell phone activity is secure - think again.  Minnesota Law Enforcement agencies are reportedly tracking your cell phone use.

A report by KARE 11 has unearthed the fact that both the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office and the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension have obtained cellular exploitation devices that imitate cell phone towers, allowing them to intercept and comb through nearby cell data, which allows them access to your personal information.

At issue the is fact that this data sweep isn't transparent;  Law enforcement agencies never disclosed that they were obtaining this information and the individual cell phone owners haven't been told that their seemingly private or confidential information is ending up in others' hands.
