Helping Those Who Need A Little Help, Shoot For Fun Raises Money A Different Way
People who need help are getting it with the Shoot For Fun. It does not help to get better crutches or hire more people to care for them. It's raising money to raise awareness and help give adults with disabilities a chance to show they have abilities. Michael Jackson is a young man in a wheel chair, without courage center or Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute he wouldn't have the opportunities to show that.
This organization helps kids and adults with a ride range of physical disabilities to be active and participate in a variety of different sports and be able to have no limits.
All proceeds from Shoot For Fun go to support recreation and sports programming for individuals with physical disabilities, vision loss, or autism. Your continued support creates opportunities for people with disabilities of all ages living throughout Northern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin.
September 9th, a Saturday, is the day for their "Shoot for Fun", a day of marksmanship shooting at clay pigeons. This is their main fundraiser and they need your help. I know many people who have had their life changed. If you can't participate, you can give money too.
Proceeds from this event will help to continue to offer these programs which are mainly run by volunteers here in our community.
