Get a head-start on the Halloween celebrations during the Spooktacular Halloween Event on Saturday, October 15 - presented by the Superior Business Improvement District.

The entire community is invited to come out and spend the day taking part in a variety of fun events.  There is literally something for everyone. Here's  a quick run-down of events, times and locations:

  • The Spooktacular 5-K Fun Run will start at 8:30 AM.  Part of the celebration will include a haunted trail, spooky bus, prizes and of course - costumes.  Click here for registration details.
  • The parade happens at 10:00.  Line up starts on Broadway Street (entrance on Hammond Avenue) and proceeds to Banks.  The parade ends at 14th Street and Banks Avenue.  Participants are welcome to give hand-outs, candy and other giveaways.  Prizes will be awarded afterwards.  There is a small $20.00 entry fee to help offset the costs of the event.  Registration forms are available here.
  • The Pumpkin Patch will take place from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM.  Included with this event will be games, live music, bounce houses, vendors and free pumpkins for the first 200 people.  If you're interested in being a vendor, click here.
  • Snacks and a Movie will happen at 12-Noon at the Superior Public Library.
  • Spooktacular Skating happens at World Of Wheels Skate Center starting at 2:00 PM.  Save $2.00 on admission if you come in costume.
