Guy in Wisconsin Drove Off From Kwik Trip Without Paying For Gas 23 Times

This guy claimed he had a "layaway agreement" Kwik Trip, but that's definitely not the case. In Manitowoc, Wisconsin a man was arrested for repeatedly driving off without paying for gas. According to WLUK news, Karl Kinyon had driven off from the same chain of gas stores 23 times, but he said he eventually pays back Kwik Trip.

They estimate Kinyon still owes for 14 of the 23 drive offs for a total of $803.90. My question on this is how did he pay for the other 9 drive offs. Was this something they just recently had enough of or what? Did he come back later to these stores and actually think there was a layaway system in place and he started paying them, and then they took it? Something seems up here.

He'll be in court on Monday for his initial appearance.
