The Greater Downtown Council announced on their Facebook Page has changed up the Downtown Perk due to COVID-19

The December Downtown Perk meeting will continue and Jonathan Reznick will be the guest speaker. Jonathan Reznick operates Reznick's Rambler Food Truck has accepted being the guest speaker. It was one of the first food trucks in Duluth.  He also owns MidCoast Catering and has become very well known in the area as a successful business person.

The whole meeting will be held on Zoom on December 15th from 7:30 am to 8:30 am and all are invited. The Downtown Perk will cost $15 to attend and once you are signed up there will be a Zoom code sent the day before the meeting to link up.

The price of the program also includes a voucher to pick up a tin of Christmas Cookies from Midcoast Catering on Central Avenue for people to use later that day. After Jonathan Reznick speaks, the winners of the Storefront Window Display and Lighting Contest will be announced.

This is a great way to network even though the Pandemic has made it impossible to have get-togethers like this one. You can talk about what people are doing to keep their business running, creative ways of advertising, and maybe the future of local business. This is also a great way to hear how one person made their business successful and what steps they took to do it.
