As preparations for the first Super Bowl to be held in Minnesota in more than 27 years gear up, some local agencies are getting ready to be on the receiving end of grant money from the organizers.  On Tuesday October 17, the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee will award a grant to the Fond Du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa.  The funds will be used to expand the walking path leading to the Fond Du Lac Tribal Center, make improvements to the community gardens, and renovate the outdoor ice skating rink.

The presentation will happen at 1:00 PM at the Cloquet Community Center:  1720 Big Lake Road in Cloquet.  Following the presentation, organizers will hold a Football Skill Clinic starting at 1:10 PM.
