Due to a significant increase in COVID-19 testing, Essentia Health has announced that it is moving its mobile testing site to a location at the Miller Hill Mall.

Beginning Thursday, July 16, the Essentia Health mobile COVID-19 testing site is moving from West Duluth to the former Sears building at the Miller Hill Mall.

Hours of operation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The West Duluth location, at 59th Avenue West, was getting stressing by an increase of residents needed to be tested.  Moving the site will not only better accommodate the influx of traffic, but it will also move increased traffic out of West Duluth neighborhoods.

At the former Sears building, which is owned by Essentia, drive-through testing will continue to be performed in a garage on-site. Patients will still need a medical order to be tested.
