Elvis Items Up For Grabs As Elvis Week Kicks Off

The famous Peabody Hotel is the scene for tomorrows auction of several Elvis items form his early days.

Some of the items up for auction is one of Elvis early posters, his Tiger Man glasses, a library card from Humes High School, and a signed motion picture contract from 1956.

One of the coolest items is the early Elvis Poster. According to the Daily,  it's not necessarily the poster, but what happened between the two shows that day that makes collectors foam at the mouth. Between the shows, Elvis was introduced to Colonel Tom Parker who eventually became his manager, and that piece of rock n roll  history adds tremendous value to the poster.
