Elizabeth Chan Broadcasts Live From New York, Releases Blockbuster Everyday Holidays, Debut Fa La La

Elizabeth Chan was back on KOOL 101.7 this morning, doing something that's never been done on Duluth Radio. She was playing Christmas music from New York City, and helped debut her new Christmas single "Fa La La" on the morning show.

As you remember, last year we were the first radio station in the nation to play her Christmas Song and this year we were granted the exclusive rights to do it again. This time Elizabeth did something special, playing two of her songs from her first EP, playing  accoustic, and answering questions from New York, where she lives.

This year brought new challenges for Elizabeth, she had to start her own record label and learn to produce the record. A little bit out of necessity, and a little bit because she had a clear vision of what she wanted this record to sound like.

She used kickstarter to fund the project and a video, and went the extra steps to work it to radio and also to play out live. She threw a huge listening party in New York to play the new tracks, and this year will play live for us in New York again on Christmas Eve, and we will rebroadcast on Christmas Day.
