Drivers along Minnesota's North Shore and the Iron Range should be aware of a culvert replacement that will close one of the state's iconic roadways.

County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 116, more commonly known as the Echo Trail will close on Wednesday, October 1, while public works crews replace a culvert. The closure will be at a point approximately 5.5 miles east of CSAH 24 where the Echo Trail crosses Camp 97 Creek. The culvert work is expected to last just one day, from 7 AM to 6 PM. However, weather conditions may affect this. Signs are posted on the road indicating the date of the closure. If the date needs to be changed, the signs will be updated to reflect that.
