Original Post: Hoops Brewing in Duluth's Canal Park had an unfortunate incident of a pipe bursting causing a little rain storm in the Beer Hall.
It has been unbelievably cold in the Northland the past few days and with it being as cold as it is, some unfortunate issues pop up. For one local favorite, the brewery had a pipe burst due to the cold weather.
They shared the video on their Facebook page of the incident that happened on the morning of 1/6/21 and called it a "little rain storm". They even gave a shoutout to the amazing fire department we have in Duluth for quickly resolving the issue.
They posted an update on 1/7/21 sharing that they were humbled by all the support they got, but that they were going to stay closed on the 7th for the safety of staff, customers and the building.
I myself, am a huge fan of Hoops and I love their Raspberry Wheat. I am so glad they were able to get to everything in time and preserve the beautiful space. Not only did a bunch of their loyal fans and customers reach out, but even local places like Bent Paddle and Vikre Distillery commented on Hoop's Instagram post. Cheers to all you do, Hoops!
