With the holiday shopping season fast approaching, there are plenty of questions from consumers about how the upcoming season will look. Last year, things changed drastically due to the COVID-19 pandemic and while things are leaning more towards normalcy this year, the pandemic still looms.

One thing that was done in 2020 by a lot of businesses was to spread out special offers and savings over extended periods of time for customers, rather than have them only hit on one day, such as Black Friday. This helped space out crowds and reduced the long lines often found in previous holiday seasons.

Keeping in that spirit, Target Stores announced this week that they're getting the holiday shopping season started early by bringing back Target Deal Days, which had been a guest-favorite in the past.

Target Deal Days will be take place from Sunday, October 10 through Tuesday, October 12. During those days Target promises a "lineup of amazing deals", which for the first time can be found at all Target stores, including Duluth. As had been the case previously, the deals can also be found at Target.com and through the Target app.

We’re talking thousands of deals across our entire assortment, from TVs and video games to kitchen appliances and vacuums, festive outfits for the family and delicious food and drinks for your table. Pick up everything you need to make your season extra bright.

Target was also excited to announce they are also launching a "new, industry-leading Holiday Price Match Guarantee. The Holiday Price Match Guarantee will be in effect from October 10 through December 24.

What this does is guarantee that you will pay Target's lowest price for an item regardless of if you make the purchase in October or December. Basically, if you purchase an item in store or online and the price goes lower at Target on or before December 24, 2021, you can request a price match. That way, you can get holiday shopping done early at Target and know you won't miss out on a big Target sale later in the season.

As a reminder, as is the case with most retailers, Target will be closed on Thanksgiving Day in 2021.
