Duluth / Superior Auto Dealer Benna Ford Roush is a Community Leader With Coats for Kids Drive and More [SPONSORED]

Car dealers love to give you tons of reasons or incentives to visit their dealer over another, but it's the things that they do behind the scenes that they don't advertise that sets one dealer in town above others, Benna Ford Roush loves the community they do business in, and it shows with multiple initiatives throughout the year that benefit young and old in the Twin Ports.

This year marks the 10th year that Benna has sponsored the "Coats for Kids" drive and according to Benna's Advertising Manager Carla Ringold, this year they hope to celebrate the 10,000 coat mark.

Coats are still needed this year to make sure the 10,000 coat mark is hit, Ringold encourages individuals or businesses to collect new or used coats and drop them off at either our radio studios at 14 E. Central Entrance, or bring them by Benna Ford Roush on Tower Ave. in Superior.

After coats are collected Ringold says, "our runner stops by drop off locations and picks up coats weekly and gets them over to Superior Cleaners in Superior to clean all the coats. They hold on to them until the drive is finished, which is usually the first week of November, after that,  Benna picks them up and deliveries them to Salvation Army in Superior for them to give out to anyone that needs one."

"Coats for Kids" is just one of the many things Benna does yearly to support the community, Ringold explains, "Benna is also a major sponsor for the St. Jude radiothon on B105 and KOOL 101.7, we do golf tournaments for certain charities, and we also are a major sponsor for "Just Kids Dental," and supply them with a van so they can do Dental services for area kids. Benna is in the process of getting a second van for them, so if there is a company out there that would like to help out, contact Benna. Benna also honors military veterans with 2 vans in the community, The Duluth Honor Guard Van and Douglas County Veterans Disability Van and we also work with the Bong Center. "

Benna Ford Roush has been recognized by Ford Motor Company for three years running with the "Salute to Dealers Award," which honors dealers who improve the lives of those in need while providing outstanding products and services.
