Duluth Looking For Volunteers To Clean Lakewalk

The Lakewalk Trail took a beating this past winter. The City of Duluth needs your help cleaning up rock debris and more.

Saturday, May 12 the City is seeking up to 50 volunteers to help clear the turf area along the Canal Park segment of the Lakewalk behind the hotels.

A few things to know for all volunteers:

• All supplies and equipment will be provided.
• Be prepared to do some raking, bending, stooping, and hauling rock material from the turf to the beach.
• Registration is required.
• Volunteers must be 12+ years or older.
• The event will take place from 9 AM to Noon.
• Volunteers should check in with City staff at the Endion Station parking lot (Canal
  Park).
• Participants should dress for the weather.
• This event will be held rain or shine.
