For anyone who has kids you know, they are always hungry, and during the summertime, this can cause a big strain on families. Whether they are actually hungry or just bored it seems like kids could snack all day if you let them. But each year the city of Duluth tries to help ease the strain of making sure that no child goes hungry with their free food program.

According to the Duluth Mom Collective, it is really important to make sure and use the program so that the programs will continue to exist. There is no shame in making sure that your children have enough to eat and it also can keep your child connected to their school and gives them a great outlet to socialize with their classmates as well.

Breakfast is served 8am-10:30am and lunch is served from 11:30am-1pm daily. Below is a list of schools in Duluth that offer this program. Your kids can go to any of the schools they want, all meals must be eaten on site. For more information or updates please check on Duluth Public Schools Facebook Page.
