The William A. Irvin will soon transform into the Duluth Haunted Ship, which is a favorite attraction every year for residents and tourists alike.

Organizers recently announced their schedule for the upcoming season and put out the word that volunteers were needed in a variety of areas. One crucial area where volunteers are still needed is with actors, who will provide scares aboard the ship.

Recently, Addison Severs, a set designer at the Duluth Haunted Ship placed on a post on the Duluth MN Actors|Filmmakers|Crew|DPs|MUA|Screenwriters Facebook page looking for help:

Are you looking for a fun and exciting place to act? I’m Addison, a set designer at the Duluth Haunted Ship. We are in need of more volunteer actors to help get our Haunted Ship up and running! Let me know if you are interested, and I can get you the right info! Scare you later!

Getting all dressed up and scaring people as part of a big production like the Duluth Haunted Ship does sound like a lot of fun, doesn't it? Anyone who has been on the attraction knows just how unnerving it can be and the actors are a big reason why.

If you're at least 18 years-old and would like to find out more, you can reach out to Addision through that Facebook post, or send an email to: irvin@decc.org.

But just like fake blood in a carpet, every bit of Halloween’s history left an impression we can see traces of today.
