Duluth Makes List Of Coldest Cities In America

After compiling all the data, 24/7 Wall St. has determined that Duluth, Minnesota is one of the coldest cities in America.

Using information from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), 24/7 Wall St. put together a list of 'America's 50 Coldest Cities'. 19 states are represented on the list, and Nebraska tops the list with 6 cities included.

And as everyone who lives in Duluth already knows, it's extremely cold here! Duluth not only made the list, but is listed as the 5th coldest city in the United States. With no other Minnesota cities in the top four spots, Duluth is also the coldest city in the state of Minnesota.

North Dakota cities of Fargo, Williston, and Grand Forks take up the 2,3 and 4 spots on the list. That leaves Fairbanks, Alaska as the coldest city in the country. With a normal low of -16.9 degrees in the coldest month of the year, Fairbanks takes the crown.
