Duluth Businesses That Closed in 2017

Way back in January, we had to say goodbye to one of my favorite restaurants in the area that provided wonderful Mediterranean dishes.

The Central Hillside grocery option could not be revived and sadly closed its doors in February.

In March, we said adios to Tony's favorite cookie place in the mall.

Also in March, another Mall business closed down shop.

In June, I had a heartfelt goodbye as my favorite place to get a gyro closed its doors after being open since 1921.

Sneakers closed down in October, but the staff and equipment joined forces with the newest tenant in the Holiday Center, The Lyric.

After 20 years of business in the Northland, the treat shop had to sadly close down. However, good news sprouted fast as they are now apart of the Duluth Grill!

November 12th was the last day for Duluth Homebrew who has been personalizing the homebrew experience since 2015 in the Fitger complex.

Blind Pig replaced Tycoon's Ale House in Downtown Duluth, but the gourmet sandwich place couldn't hold on as a new restaurant will be taking its place.

Just a few weeks ago, people were left wondering what happened to the newest restaurant in Cloquet as it abruptly closed.
