Anticipating an increase in air travel once the pandemic is behind us, Sun Country Airlines is adding two new non-stop routes to the Duluth Airport.

Starting December 17th, 2021 Sun Country will fly non-stop from Duluth International Airport to both the Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Meyers, and the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

Flights will be twice weekly on Monday and Friday and fares will start at $79 for a one-way ticket. Sun Country says that the flights are on sale now at SunCountry.com, and they say that members of the Sun Country Rewards program will get two points per dollar on their bookings made before 11:59 p.m. CST on Monday, May 3rd.

"With more and more people excited to resume traveling, we’re thrilled to be able to offer them the opportunity to visit these incredible vacation destinations this winter," said Sun Country Airlines Chief Revenue Officer Grant Whitney.

Along with the two new nonstop flight out of the Duluth Airport, Sun Country added 16 additional non-stop flights including six nonstop routes from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, two nonstop routes from Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport, five nonstop routes from Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport and two routes from Rochester International Airport.

With today's announcement Sun Country will operate a total of 93 routes at 69 airports in the United States, Mexico, Central America and Caribbean. Sun Country is based in Minnesota and offers low-cost airfare to destinations in Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and locations in the United States.
