Downtown Duluth Holds Superior Street Meetings

Downtown Duluth will hold two meetings to help the public understand the phase 2 and to kick off the construction.

The first meeting will be a public information meeting on April 1st at 10 am a the Greysolon Plaza at 231 East Superior Street. The meeting will include information pertinent to the next round of construction to occur on Superior Street.

The "Season Two" Superior Street Reconstruction public kickoff event will be held in front of the Tech Village between Lake Avenue and 1st Avenue E.  Beginning Monday, April 8th. The public is invited to attend the event that will include speeches from Mayor Emily Larson, Kristi Stokes with the Greater Downtown Council, Northland Constructors, and several other key partners of the project.

Pending weather conditions, Superior Street will be closed from the EAST side of Lake Avenue to the WEST side of 3rd Avenue East. This will take care of the second of three phases
