Dig In For The Downtown Waterfront Needs You

The Greater Downtown Council and City of Duluth are seeking volunteers to help plant  and beautify. According to a press release, about 60 people are needed.

People will be used to help pland flowers for the Downtown Waterfront on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.

Approximately 110 streetscape planters are at Wheeler Field, just waiting for helping hands to fill them with flowers. City crews will then move the planters to adorn the sidewalks of the Downtown Waterfront this summer.

The Greater Downtown Council’s Clean & Safe Team will maintain them throughout the summer season.

If you would like to be part of the team show up on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 (rain date June 7th) 10:00AM Wheeler Field, upper parking lot on west side of ballfields
Bring garden tools and gloves, if you have them
