DECC Adds Designated Passenger Pick-Up + Drop-Off Areas

It's great to catch a show or concert at the DECC Arena or Amsoil and they even offer lot and ramp parking options that are easy for those attending - paying as you enter the property.  But what if you're simply dropping someone off or picking them up for an event?  In the past - you would have had two options: pay to enter and retrieve your pedestrian friend or battle the street traffic - and congestion - on the streets along the facility.

Now you have a new option!

The Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center has announced that they have added new drop-off and pick-up locations along Harbor Drive.  The sites will allow ease-of-use for taxis, ride-share services, shuttles, and more.

Officials with the DECC hope that this will ease use and congestion and provide improved transportation modes for everyone. Locations for the new spots will be marked with signs just outside of Entrance F - commonly known as the Ten Minute Ticket Lobby and Paulucci Hall parking lot.
