Deadline For 2015 Minnesota Property Tax Refund Approaches

Who wouldn't like a little extra cash in their pocket.  Officials with St. Louis County are reminding homeowners that the deadline to apply for a 2015 Minnesota Property Tax Refund is approaching;  applications need to be filed by August 15.

According to the county, last year more than 850,000 Minnesotans received a refund from their property tax last year.  To be eligible, a homeowner must have had a household income of less that $107,930 in 2015.

(And, yes - the deadline approaching is for the 2015 tax year.  The deadline to apply for a refund off the 2016 tax year is August 15, 2018.
