Vikings RB Dalvin Cook is putting the team on his back and racking up yards and TDs.

Cook rushed for 206 yards, the most ever for him in a single game, and only the third player in Vikings history to do it, Chuck Foreman and Adrian Peterson are the other two.

Cook also scored two touchdowns making him the 6th player in NFL history and the first since 1994 with Emmitt Smith to get a rushing touchdown in each of his first 7 games of a season.

The Vikings beat the Lions 34-20 in an empty US Bank Stadium on Sunday puting the team at 3-5 for the season. Up next for the Vikings is the Bears on Monday Night Football, a night in which Kirk Cousins has never won a game.

Cook has had a lot of help from some great blocking, coach Zimmer said in a post game press conferance, "I thought Cookie ran the ball exceptionally well. He did run exceptionally well, but our offensive line did a great job. The tight ends, C.J. Ham … that was [good]."

The Vikings Radio Network and Paul Allen made C.J. Ham their "Jewel of the Game" yesterday and had high praise for his blocking.
