Construction Update For Kwik Trip’s 28th Street Location In Superior As Of July 1

Steve Tanko[/caption]Here's an update on the 28th and Tower location of Kwik Trip in Superior!  As of Tuesday morning (July 1) - it looks like the roofing is already (or almost) complete.  Workers have installed thermal wrap on the outside of the building - in advance of siding, and the windows are in.  Out front, it appears that the rough groundwork is complete.  They've even installed the stand-up sign that advertises the price of gas.  Work has also begun at a second site near the Belknap Street Viaduct approach to the Bong Bridge - a location that formerly housed C's Lounge.  Demolition work of the old building on site started a few days ago and was still continuing this morning.

These two work sites will be joined by a third in East Superior at some point this summer - as the convenience store makes a splash-entry into the Twin Ports market.  Store locations are also in the works in Duluth.
