There are reports the Seattle Seahawks have an interest in him, and he used to play for Coach Pete Carroll at USC.

Everson Griffen wanted to play out his days in Minnesota, in an Instagram post by sports writer Ben Golssling he said even Coach Mike Zimmer said they wanted to keep Griffen, but it would have to be at a pay cut. Griffen said he would play with a pay cut. In the end, yahoo sports reports Minnesota had to take care of some big names and there wasn't anything left to get Everson Griffen back.

Everson gave a goodbye to the fans on his Instagram page saying how much he loved playing for the team and wished things has worked out, but now he will play for another team. The latest report is that Coach Pete Carroll is interested and said that he thought Griffen was a good player back then but has proved himself in the NFL and can still be a playmaker.

Everson did some good things for the Vikings in my opinion, he will be missed.
