City Of Superior Schedules Free Landfill Days In April + May

The annual free landfill days for Superior residents is coming up - offering an opportunity for a little spring cleaning!  According to the city's website, there are two days on the schedule for spring 2019:  Saturday, April 27 and Saturday, May 4.

Residents of the City of Superior will be able to utilize most garbage services at the landfill on Moccasin Mike Road free of charge between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:30 PM.

The following items will be accepted on those dates free of charge:

• Household trash
• Brush
• Tires (4 per residence - 18-inch and smaller
• Grass clippings
• Leaves

The landfill will also accept all other items that they usually do, however if they aren't specified on the "free" list, regular charges will apply.

Residents who intend to use the landfill free of charge on  those dates will need to provide proof of residency.  Contractors will not be able to utilize the free service.  All loads must be secured prior to entering the municipal landfill.
