Earlier this fall, the City of Superior organized a survey of residents and non-residents about their use of municipal parks and trails along with questioning them about what improvements they would like to see.  The survey was part of a bigger project called the Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan - the results of which will direct the master plan for city-owned land resources in the future.

The survey has finished and the results are in.  The city has organized the results into what was important to the residents of each district in Superior.

Now that the surveys are done, the next step will be meetings with the Parks Comprehensive Planning Advisory Board - which will commence in January.  The board will take into account the wants and needs of residents (taken from the surveys) and compile that into its Master Plan.  Once that is finished, the plan will next move on to the Parks and Recreation Commission, before final approval by the City Council this summer.
