City Of Duluth Unveils Northland Emergency Alert

The City of Duluth gave a press conference about the new emergency system they are launching called the Northland Alert! A new opt in emergency subscription system available free to the public.

According to the facebook page they want you to go to www.northlandalert.com to subscribe. Get alerts from the City of Duluth, St. Louis County, Virginia, Hermantown and Hibbing to stay informed and efficiently receive messages via text, email or land line. This will let you know if there is a risk of something, like storms, fire, or flooding. They can pick the area and send a certain messsage that would affect them.
