Christmas Holiday Brings Changes To Superior’s Garbage Schedule

The upcoming Christmas holiday will bring changes to the garbage collection schedule for the City of Superior.  In observance of the holiday, the Public Works Department - as well as the Municipal Landfill - will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, December 25 and 26.

Garbage service will resume on Wednesday, December 27.  Homes that are scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday pick-ups need to have their garbage dumpster at the usual location by 7:00 AM on Wednesday morning.  The crews will work to catch up, however there may be delays.

The recycling pickup schedule will only be delayed by one day.
