It's April 1st, and this is no joke: we are talking about a significant snowstorm impacting the Northland over the next 36 hours. However, this April has a long way to go if it wants to compete with a past record breaker.
A strong spring storm will sweep across Minnesota Tuesday, bringing several inches of heavy, wet snow to certain areas. The National Weather Service has already issued weather warnings and watches.
Most of Minnesota experienced summer-like weather last Friday with temps reaching the 70s and low 80s but that warmth didn't last long. Temps plummeted on Saturday and rain and snow moved through the state over the weekend.
