Animal Allies needs your help twice. Buddy is an orange tabby domestic longhair that needs a home and Animal Allies also lost their transport vehicle and is asking for your help to replacement. I talked to Daryl this week and he told me about Buddy, an orange tabby domestic longhair who is 6 years old. Here's what he said:

This gentle guy is very laid back and enjoys lounging around. He loves attention and would probably be happiest as the only animal in your home so he can hog all the pets! He has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. If you are interested in adoption, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give us a call at 218-722-5341 for more information!

Also, Animal Allies needs a vehicle for local transport. Last year, the Explorer broke down for good and was sold for just $100 to be used for parts. This has been a huge loss for the organization, they are using volunteer cars to deliver animals or drive them to appointments. The shelter needs a replacement transport vehicle that is fuel-efficient, reliable, and safe to drive in the winter.

According to animalallies.net new transport vehicle will help:

  • Transport strays from the City of Duluth Animal Services shelter to our shelter to prepare them for adoption (this transport occurs one to three times a week)
  • Transport animals requiring extra vet services and procedures to and from specialty clinics up to 150 miles away
  • Transport for adoption and fundraising events in the Twin Ports region
  • Transport animals from high-risk shelters to Animal Allies Humane Society for care and adoption
  • Transport staff to events, trainings, and community collaborations state-wide
  • Transport dogs to local trainer as part of a newly implemented dog training program
Click here to make a donation there is a matching donation for the purchase of a transport vehicle, so if you donate the money will be doubled.
