Brother Jon Band Comes Home For Superior Gig

The Brother Jon Band brings a power trio to Bird's Bar in Superior February 16th, coming back to the Northland where he grew up.

It's not the full band but it is going to be fun and some great blues music with Jon's brother joining him on stage.

I got a chance to sit down with Jon Rabideaux for a little in the studio and we talked about growing up, where he started, and what he is up to now. The gig tonight has a little back story to it. He grew up just 4 blocks away from Birds bar (the sign says Les Birds if you are looking for it to take in his show tonight) and talks about the old Spur station around there.

We talked about his roots in the area and his first gigs. Who made him want to play music for a career, and some other memories.

Another great thing about the show tonight at Birds Bar in Superior, he is giving away a guitar!

Jon will be back up for the Homegrown week of shows and I invited him back to talk and play some more.
