There's good news and bad news for Boy Meets World fans;  The good news:  Disney is confirming that they have ordered production for a spinoff show for the 1990's hit Boy Meets World;  Called Girl Meets World, the show will include Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel reprising their characters Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence.  The bad news:  The show won't include fan-favorite Rider Strong in his role as Shawn Hunter.

While Strong is happy for his former cast-mates, he believes that the new show should be about Cory and Topanga's life as it would be today - and not his.

“There might be a chance to see some of the BMW cast in a guest spot, and I think it would be nice to find out where our characters have been all these years,’ Strong continues. “But Girl Meets World will be, and I think it should be, its own show. It will be about Cory and Topanga, their daughter, and a new set of characters.”

Girl Meets World will pick up on Cory and Topanga's life;  Now married and with a daughter, the show will enter production at some point in 2013.
