Northland residents will have a new place to eat soon! BoomTown restaurant will be opening their doors in just a few months.

The restaurant chain is planning to open their newest location in January of 2021. Owners announced the news on their Facebook page Tuesday (September 15th), writing that they have been getting a ton of inquiries about when they'd be opening. Here's what they had to say:

Hello everyone. We’ve been getting asked a lot about when we will be opening and we really appreciate the enthusiasm! We are just putting the finishing touches on the interior and setting up the bar. We are very anxious to get open as well. It’s been a tough road to say the least for the restaurant industry this past year dodging curveballs and figuring out new ways to generate revenue. Trying to open a new restaurant in the midst of the chaos we are all experiencing we believe is not the best bet. We are shooting for a Jan 2021 opening and will hopefully be accepting applications after Thanksgiving. Thank you all and we look forward to serving you!
Hopefully all goes as planned and they really can open their doors early next year. That would give us something to look forward to!News of the new restaurant popped up back in January of 2020. It will be replacing the Sunset Bar & Grill in Duluth. The restaurant already has locations in Eveleth and Hibbing and is known for their delicious menu of burgers, seafood, sandwiches and hand-crafted cocktails. Count us in!
