New Survey Reveals Black Friday Is Actually a Day to Buy Yourself Gifts
The too-good-to-be-true bargains that abound on Black Friday may entice people to go holiday shopping, but they may lure in even more people interested in buying gifts for themselves.
According to a new survey, 44% of people say they would go shopping for themselves on Black Friday. That number jumped to 51% among men. Women tend to show more of a concern for others – only 25% say they’re on the hunt for merchandise to buy themselves.
Interestingly, 15% of men claim to be shopping for their significant other, more than double the 7% of women who hit the stores in the hopes of finding the perfect gift for their better half. So, while women are more likely to shop for others, it’s clear the men in their lives fall behind kids, siblings, parents, friends and the lady who does her nails.
