You might want to " leggo of that Eggo" this time around as Kellogg has announced that they are recalling certain Eggo Waffles in 25 states.

According to a press release sent out from leggomyeggo.com, Kellogg Company is recalling approximately 10,000 cases of Kellogg's Eggo Nutri Grain Whole Wheat Waffles.

Kellogg is saying that these cases might be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The press release states that Listeria monocytogenes can 'cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.'.

25 states have been asked to be aware of this, and both Minnesota and Wisconsin are listed in the release.
