‘Avengers: Endgame’ Will Be Streaming on Disney Plus On Day One
Disney is pulling out all the stops for the launch of its new streaming service, Disney+. Originally, Avengers: Endgame was scheduled to premiere on the service on December 11. And while having the exclusive streaming home of the biggest movie in the history of the galaxy is a pretty good selling point, having it on Day One is a lot better than having it a month later.
And, as it turns out, Disney has done whatever legal wrangling it needed to do to make it possible to bump that premiere date up. As it revealed on Twitter today, Endgame will now be available as a launch title at Disney+:
With a hair under $2.8 billion in worldwide ticket sales, it’s not like there’s a ton of folks out there who were waiting to watch Avengers: Endgame until it showed up on streaming. Still, there are some — and there’s certainly many more who want to watch and rewatch it many more times. And for $7 a month, you can watch it unto infinity, along with all the other stuff Disney’s going to have streaming there. That’s actually a pretty good deal when you look at it that way. Disney+ opens for business (and Avengers: Endgame streaming) on November 12.
