I grew up with parents exposing me to Barry Manilow, Bread, and other 70's soft rock staples. I can appreciate the good in any genre but that was a lot of work. In 7th grade at Washington Junior High, my life would change. A kid had a copy of Van Halen's "Fair Warning" that his mom made him sell because it had swearing on it. Sold! I gave him $2 and a lunch ticket for my first Van Halen cassette. That was my gateway into all things Van Halen and rock. That lead to Led Zepplin, Aerosmith, AC/DC, etc. It was the 80's so I also got into Ratt, Dokken, Skid Row, Poison, Whitesnake and all the other party bands who had hot girls in their videos. Hey, I was a chubby kid with a mullet so I had to live vicariously through these guys. Sasquatch 92.1 plays the stuff I love and I hope you love it too!
