HomeGrown gets bigger and better every year, this year will feature a video projection from artist Daniel Benoit.

Friday and Saturday May 4th and 5th projection artist Daniel Benoit and Audio Video Resources will be projection mapping Homegrown inspired visuals onto the 120e Superior Street building.

According to a press release from Downtown Duluth, projection mapping is a technique that allows for video and images to be precisely projected onto specific features of 3d surfaces or “mapped” to the architecture of the building. The exterior of the 120e building will be illuminated by 16,000 lumens of digital art during the final weekend of Homegrown.

Audio Visual Resources provides audio and video services for local events, including the AV production for Duluth’s Movies in the Park series..They have donated time, labor, and equipment to make this installation possible.
