Should be interesting to see the Gov back in action. I'll go see it.

The Governator is part of a new rights package being shopped around studios

Arnold Schwarzennegger is set to return to Terminator. Following his run as Governor of California, it has emerged that Arnie is part of new negotiations in the works to bring the seminal robot sci-fi franchise back to cinemas.

Sources say that studios Universal, Sony, Lionsgate and CBS are looking hard at the proposal, although no screenwriter is yet attached to the project.

The rights to Terminator are currently held by hedge fund Pacificor, after acquiring them in a bankruptcy auction. Studio Halcyon, who made 2009 sequel Terminator: Salvation, had intended to make two more films following on from that storyline, but ran out of money.
