American Foods That Foreigners Don’t Understand

As a foodie, I tend to follow a lot of blogs and sites that concentrate on the foods we eat.  I recently encountered an interesting read from an unlikely non-food related website called Answers.com.  The subject this time around was foods that Americans eat that foreigners turn their noses up at.

All in all it's an interesting list - and I tend to agree with almost all of them.

The summarized list includes:

• Hershey's Kisses
• DQ Blizzards
• Imitation cherry flavor - especially in licorice
• Processed cheese
• Cakes
• Light beer
• Kids breakfast cereal
• Root beer
