It seems more and more companies see the need to delve into our personal lives. That's the first thing that came to mind when I read the article at Forbes.com. on Amazon's latest idea, the Amazon Echo.

Echo is much the same as Siri. You ask it a question, it gives you the answer. Tell it you are running low on laundry soap and it will order it for you. Boasting seven microphones, it can tell what mood your in, how many are in the room, if you have a visitor, etc.etc.

To turn on Echo, you say the word "Alexa," and from then on it monitors everything. But what if Echo is left unsupervised? Do we know if it's listening even though it's off? I'm not quite ready to take that chance, how about you? Read the article and you be the judge.
