The Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency (AEOA) is holding another one of their Free Food Distributions; this one is centered around the Hermantown area - coming up on Thursday, May 27. The event will happen at the Arrowhead Transit building at 4995 Miller Trunk Highway in Hermantown, with a 12:30 PM start time.  Invitation to participate is open to the general public in the Twin Ports area.

Similar to how the AEOA has held their past food distribution events, this one will also follow COVID-19 protocols providing for a "contact-less" environment.  Participants are asked to arrive no more than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.  You're asked to wait inside of your vehicle and to wear a mark when communicating with volunteers as a measure of precaution.

All food will be distributed "first come, first served" and will be available until it's gone.  On the docket for distribution for the Hermantown event is refrigerated food - including produce, dairy, meat, and 2% milk. If you're attending, you should think through cold storage so that the food won't spoil before you can get it home and into the refrigerator or freezer.
