It's back again this year the Miller Hill Subaru Adoption Event along with Animal Allies and other Northland Shelters all gathered together in one spot to try and find new loving homes for cats and dogs. This is a great opportunity to help the shelters give these amazing animals a chance to start a new life with a new family.

The event is going on Saturday November 9 and Sunday November 10 at Miller Hill Subaru in Duluth. Saturday is specifically cat adoptions only and Sunday is dog adoptions only in order to keep all the animals calm and comfortable. The event is going from 10am-4pm on Saturday and 10am-2pm on Sunday.

All of the shelters will be offering discounted adoption fees and are all vet checked, spayed or neutered and microchipped as well. Plus the staff are knowledgeable about each of the animals which can be very helpful in order to place them with the right family.

If you already have a dog or cat now is the perfect time to get them microchipped if they are not already. It is so important for your pet to be microchipped even if your cat for example is an indoor cat only, accidents happen and they might  get out of the house. Plus collars can come off, so this is a great way to be reunited with your pet. If you donate an item off the Animal Allies Wish List you can get your pet microchipped for free (find the list at animalallies.net) or the cost is only $10.00.

Also pet photos with Santa are available and also many many pet friendly vendors will be on site as well to get some treats for your new family member. Thank you to all the volunteers and people behind the scenes who help make this event happen!
