Josh and Carly Gosar are the proud new owners of a food truck called "The Grumpy Goose" a Vegan Food Truck that will officially open on Friday in Duluth. Josh had said that his goal was to be able to offer food that is plant based and is going to be a good meat replica.

After traveling around the country and trying different foods he experimented on his own to come up with the menu for their food truck. According to their Facebook page some of the offerings include : A  burger with a fried onion ring on top with chili, chicken crunch wrap, gyros and more.

Josh was a Special Education instructor who needed a change and so he made a 30 hour road trip to Houston Texas to purchase the 26 foot kitchen on wheels which was used as a Cajun style food truck before. After months of doing upgrades on the truck  he is still waiting to put on the signage on the outside along with trying to map out places in the Twin Ports to park his food truck on the weekends.

With so many delicious items on the menu Carly Gosar said she does not know which item is her favorite but they did test out the menu on their 18 year old son who is a meat eater and he gave them the thumbs up. Josh had said to the Duluth News Tribune: "You have to be innovative, willing to take a risk, you have to bet on yourself."

What an exciting option for locals and tourists alike to try some of this delicious food whether they are vegans or not. With all the new restaurants and now food trucks that are popping up lately in the Twin Ports we are not only supporting our neighbors by supporting local business, but we have some options that were not available before. Best of luck to crew from "The Grumpy Goose" I am sure your food truck will be a huge success. To follow where they will be set up follow them on Facebook.
