A man was critically injured when his fish house when it exploded on Sunday near Moorhead, MN. Firefighters arrived on the scene and found Michael Herzog (from Detroit Lakes) outside his fish house severely burned, according to KBJR6.

He was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Fargo, then airlifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul. His caring bridge page says that 90% of his body is covered in 2nd and 3rd degree burns. He is currently in sedation and they will re evaluate his burns after 72 hours.

The associated press reports that Herzogg was is a former quarter back for Conordia Moorhead. His family is at his side and will be updating his caring bridge page when available. They are asking for prayers in his recovery.
