148th Deploys Portable Shelter for St. Louis County

The 148th Fighter Wing is helping out the community during the COVID-19 in many ways, today they delivered a FORTS to St. Louis County.

The FORTS is a portable fold-out shelter that the St. Louis County Emergency Operations Center can use, if needed, for storage or workspace.

The unit gives the county an extra 272-square foot of space in the event that the  Emergency Operations Center needs to expands its capabilities.

They said in a Facebook post, "The 148th Fighter Wing and Minnesota National Guard are actively supporting COVID-19 response efforts in coordination with the State Emergency Operation Center."
