Wisconsin Hunters Look For Deer and Marijuana Fields In Chequamegon

I live a mile away from the Chequamegon, and while the hunters might not get a deer, they may get something of a surprise this year. According to CNN, the U.S. Forest Service is urging hunters to keep their eyes open for marijuana growing operations in Wisconsin's Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest.

Since 2008, nine marijuana growing operations have been discovered on public land within the state, and there have actually been three big bust in three years at the forest, resulting in the eradication of more than 80,000 marijuana plants that were cultivated by large drug trafficking organizations.
