The 12 annual Veterans Remembrance Dinner will be featuring the winner of the $1500 Mike Colalillo Medal of honor scholarship. The Dinner will be on Thursday, December 8. The theme for this year’s event is: The Man Behind the Medal: The Story of Duluth’s Native Son, Major Henry Courtney, Jr.
If you are looking for a fun race and want to help preserve Vet History, come and run the Veterans’ Memorial Hall 5k this weekend. The online registration is still open for a few more hours, but you can also register at the race.
The day when we honor and celebrate those that have given so much for our country is upon us once again, and a number of restaurants and businesses in the Duluth and Superior area want to give a little something back as a token and gratitude for their service.
